Community partners-
OASIS is grateful for the in-kind donations it receives from our community. In an effort to make the best of our planet’s limited resources, OASIS partners with other organizations in the community by passing on the good quality items that are not school appropriate. Organizations that receive clothing and other items from OASIS include:
- Men of Vision – a program in the Hillsborough County Public Schools for at-risk young men that encourages community service and high school graduation (men’s dress clothing and shoes, athletic wear)
- City Swimming Pools – bathing suits for low income families
- ECHO – serving families experiencing emergencies in east Hillsborough County (clothing, household goods)
- Dress for Success – women’s classic work clothing
- CAST – program from homeless men in Tampa
- Eckerd Foster Kids Program – non-school clothing for children and babies
- Salvation Army and Lifepath Hospice stores – specialty items that community members would purchase.
