                                Our Mission

"To provide basic necessities to needy students in Hillsborough County public schools." These necessities include: gently used clothing, new uniforms, socks & underwear, shoes, hygiene items, alarm clocks and school supplies.

                                Why OASIS is Important:
                                • Hillsborough County School District is the 8th largest school district in the country, serving approximately 192,000 students.
                                • More than 60% of all students in Hillsborough County public schools live in poverty, evidenced by their qualifying for the federal free / reduced lunch program

We believe that all children can excel in school when given the basic items they need.

This is possible through a unique partnership with some 140 social workers of Hillsborough County School District. When a social worker identifies a child lacking basic necessities, the social worker may visit one of our facilities to select whatever the child may need-- free of charge!

With this quick process and minimal red tape, a child can receive items the same day they are requested.
